The Peninsula held its launching ceremony, heralding the addition of 800 rooms to accommodate the state’s fast-reviving tourism sector upon the completion of The Peninsula Kota Kinabalu by 2028.
Unveiling the project in the central business district (CBD) on 8 February 2024 (Thursday), Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor underscored the integrated mixed-development’s affirmation of Trillium Development Sdn Bhd’s confidence in Sabah’s sturdy property market.
Hajiji expressed certainty that the latest development, along with other waterfront mixed-developments, will bolster investor trust in Sabah’s property sector.
The development entails the construction of service apartment blocks, premium residential towers, office blocks, shopping malls, a multi-storey car park, commercial suites, a four-star hotel (Grandis) and a five-star hotel (The Peninsula).
